Executive Board of Advisors

Dr. Francis Rhie, MD, FACP, MBA – Chief Medical Advisor
Since 2007, Dr. Rhie has served as the Chief Medical Advisor for CERECONS, providing guidance to the product development and R&D efforts. Dr. Rhie co-founded Alteer in July 1996. He had been in clinical practice since 1982 in Orange County, California. Prior to Alteer, Dr. Rhie was chairman of Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital. He received clinical and research endocrinology training at Harvard Medical School, Joslin Diabetes Center, and New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He enrolled in University of California, Irvine MBA class from 1993 to 1995 while in clinical practice. Dr. Rhie's practice experience and understanding of the complexity of the physician practice environment has helped Alteer to develop one of its core competencies-understanding the physician marketplace. Dr. Rhie's career as a physician includes serving as president of the America Diabetes Association, California Affiliate and serving on the national Board of Directors.

The Board of Advisors provides expertise in fields covering the full range of the company's activities. It meets on a regular basis and provides guidance to the CEO on operational and strategic initiatives.

Rick McCarthy
Rick McCarthy has been a CPA in private practice since 1978. Since 1990 he has served as Principal of McCarthy & Associates, CPA in Irvine, California, supporting senior management in diverse industries with an emphasis on taxation, business planning and M&A consulting. He has also been a partner/CFO in a number of start-up companies. Mr. McCarthy is actively involved in numerous nonprofits, including The Sheepfold & The Barnabas Group, and he is currently on the Board of Evangelical Christian Credit Union (ECCU). An honors graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Mr. McCarthy taught Taxation for the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies and is a humorous speaker/editor/columnist. He has been an active member of Mariner's Church since 1984, where he has also served as an Elder.

Spencer McClung
An expert is digital and traditional media, Spencer McClung is a results-driven leader with a global perspective. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, sales, marketing, financial analysis, production/operations, and change management. An entrepreneur and business consultant, Mr. McClung is skilled at leading diverse teams toward solutions and consensus in complex situations. He embraces change and challenge. Mr. McClung has proven interpersonal, communication, analytical, facilitative and negotiating skills with a record of building, training, motivating and mentoring top-performing teams. Mr. McClung holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance with honors from Texas A&M University.

Scott Young
J. Scott Young has 29 years of experience in public accounting, including 17 years at Wright Ford Young & Co. Mr. Young is also committed to serving others. He has held leadership positions for the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center, Calvary Christian School, and the American Cancer Society. He is also actively involved with Hope International, where he provides microfinance loans to individuals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. After earning his degree in Accounting and graduating with honors in from Chapman University, Mr. Young joined Arthur Andersen & Co in 1981. More than a decade later, he realized that his entrepreneurial quest could not be realized in a large, bureaucratic organization that served primarily SEC registrants, so he joined Wright Ford Young & Co., where he has worked with privately-held businesses. Today, Mr. Young leads the firm's audit practice as Senior Audit Partner.

Tony Molnar
Tony Molnar is the President of M3 Mechanical, a mechanical engineering firm based in Southern California. Before taking his current leadership role at M3, Mr. Molnar served at an Investment Banker in the financial services industry.

Leonard Wesson
Leonard Wesson is the CEO of PPC Techs, a company that provides repair services and accessories to mobile devices ranging from Smart Phones to the latest tablet devices. PPC Tech serves both corporate and individual Smartphone users who seek a reliable, reputable, and affordable solution for their PDA Service, repair, parts, and accessories. Headquartered in the Los Angeles area, PPC Techs delivers fast turnaround, diagnostics, and PDA repair service, as well as parts and accessories, for most makes, models and manufacturers of Smartphones.

Bruce Bartolomeo
Bruce Bartolomeo is the Chairman of the Board of the International Princess Project (IPP), a not-for-profit firm that partners with other organizations to advocate for women enslaved in forced prostitution. IPP provides a strategic component by helping women restore their broken lives while striving to empower them to live freely and independently. Before IPP, Mr. Bartolomeo was the founder and CEO of Bartwood Construction, a full-service firm that provided recovery services for businesses and homes.

Mark Markos
Mark Markos is the President of American Furniture Alliance (AFA), an international designer and manufacturer of furniture that is distributed worldwide. AFA began 20 years ago as an initial idea by Mr. Markos and John Widly. Today AFA is an industry leader and world recognized furniture superpower. Mr. Markos is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton.

Don Veluer
Don Veluer is the CEO of Olive Crest. Founded in 1973, Olive Crest has transformed the lives of more than 50,000 abused, neglected, and at-risk children and their families. Sebastian Ingreti's is the President of TechMD, a leading technology firm with expertise in enterprise management of large scale networks and datacenters. His role at TechMD is to manage the business operations and to provide logistical support to the service team. He thrives on seeing the goals of the company come to fruition, and his entrepreneurial spirit motivates those around him.
